- Version affected 2.5.14 and earlier 2.5.x versions. 3.1.5 and earlier 3.x versions.
- Vulnerability: Inadequate filtering leads to XSS vulnerability in com_contact.

As the second most used content management system, this was an important release for Joomla! Version control is huge. It’s nice that there is no longer the need for a separate extension. Rapid Application Development (RAD) framework will also simplify the extension making process and add to the total number out there, which is great for growth.
